Blogs which attract lots of readers need frequent updates, so blogs are word-eating monsters. Writers who write for the most popular blogs generate an amazing amount of material, anywhere from two to ten or more blog posts (short articles, which may consist of anywhere from twenty to several hundred words) each and every day. This means that every blog needs writers, and because blogs are becoming so popular with Web sites, many businesses and publications are actively looking for freelance writers who know how to blog.
Blogs can be used very effectively to promote your business and to get your message across. They can also be used for generating revenue. You can put up Google AdSense and other contextual ads. You can also put up affiliate links. Another possibility is to put up web forms to invite subscribers for your newsletters. Some knowledge of HTML will be required to install AdSense and web forms etc.
My notes help improve writing and thinking. When we are forced to publicly express ourselves through the written word, it is my opinion that we become better writers.
YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL APPRECIATE REGULARLY HEARING FROM YOU: You see, Blogs today have this great ‘comment’ facility which means your people – your customers – can ask you questions and give you valuable feedback almost immediately. This is almost like a ‘chat’ system, and is quicker than email. Forget about having to manipulate your source codes, Blogs make this unnecessary. Blogs have an amazing comment system that allows your customers to immediately post feedbacks and queries. And that’s what service on the net is all about today – quick responses, dependable advice and getting what you want, when you want. Now. And Blogs can do it.
If you’re pitching a guest post (where you would write a post for their blog with a link back to your website), make sure they accept guest posts. Many blogs that accept guest posts will have a “Contributors” tab or a “Guest Post” tab or button with more details. Or just comb through old entries and see if you can find any.
Now imagine that other people (bloggers) start jumping in the pool, splashing around like idiots and start upsetting all the other people. And, these bloggers have absolutely nothing in common with the rest of us. In fact, some of these bloggers promote “unsavory” and even immoral practices and products! They have low or no page rank, traffic from God only knows where, and pretty soon…
Buying backlinks, unless it is a service that hand submits those comments and as I described, is a big waste of your hard-earned money. Whether you pay someone to use it or you use it yourself, automated blogging software is another waste of time and money. Also, leaving the wrong type of comments on the wrong type of blogs will do you more harm than good.
