Want to have a blog that draws people to read it regularly? Or put your business in the forefront of the online community? Out of a gazillion blogs out there, how would you make yours stand out from the crowd? Blogging alone and interesting contents are not enough to catapult your blog.
Dress up your comments. Even if you don’t have any readers, you can be assured that comment spammers will find you. Comment spammers are the guys dropping off-topic advertisements for Viagra and weight loss pills in the comments of your blog. Nothing kills the ability of a Education to attract new links like a spammy site. And nothing says ‘spammy site’ like a comments page full of irrelevant comments and links. So monitor and delete spammy comments on a regular basis. In addition to deleting the garbage comments, you need to foster a positive community.
Some internet marketers have mailing lists. To entice you into joining these mailing list they’ll give away a free e-book or video join a few really good lists and read or watch the free online blogs material you get.
Pictures and videos, not too much or your page will become clustered. Many of my followers are from Facebook and when I post my reviews and giveaways they are prompted to visit my blog and enter giveaway. This all ties in to adding visitors to my site and the above mentioned Google ranking. I also have a special area on my blog for followers to follow my site via Networked Blogs to make it easier for them. The easier you make it, the happier your visitors are and more likely to follow you permanently.
