Inspiration – What Is It That Inspires You?

I was driving home the other day and I was thinking about the evening ahead. My plan was to go home, change into my gym clothes and get to my evening workout. I then became fixated on the word “workout”. The first part of that word is “work”. We all know that it takes work to become better at something, to improve ourselves. Nobody ever became better by lying on the couch with a bag of chips on their chest. Believe me, I’ve tried it a number of times and can speak from experience.

Positive logical Reasons: Unlike negative logical reasons this one has a great effect on the conscious mind. The more positive reasons you can come up with to keep you moving forward the more likely you will succeed. Always have a list readily available so you can look at it anytime. This type of motivation is great for keeping a person going.

Take some private time and really look at your current life situation and your attitudes and you should be able to find the motivational leaks in your daily life. You won’t be able to identify them all at first, but as you fix the more obvious ones the smaller ones will come to light too. List them as you notice them and then cross them off the list as you permanently correct them. Here’s a tip – if all of your problems appear to stem from others and none from your own actions or attitudes you need to grow up, accept responsibility for your actions and be a LOT more honest with yourself if you intend to get anywhere in life.

For instance, lets say you want to learn how to play the guitar, and you really want to get good at it but it seems as though you are stuck in a rut. It seems as though there is little to no progress so they find that they no longer have the inspiration or the zeal to pick up that guitar.

Well there you have the 4 types of motivation. I hope you are able to use this information to start making the needed changes in your life. Remember motivation is all about reasons.
